Dissertation (2017)
Abstract
2016 was a year of political and social polarization and division. Whilst many blamed the idea of ‘fake news’ for this, it is possible that they have missed the bigger picture. Throughout, pre- existing literature is explained and evaluated. To aid with my research, I have also carried out a survey to get opinions from social media users.
